2nd Place -- Small Boats
The runner-up trophy went to AARON CHEW and DOUG HERRMAN, a slow but perservering duo, aboard the pirate ship DIRTY SCOUNDREL.

First Place-Large Boats
JEFF SCHUT and daughter EVELYN finished ahead of the pack aboard ACES, a Prindle that gets to fly the Number 1 pennant for the next 12 months. Last year Jeff enter the Small Boats part of the race and ran BLUE STREAK to 2nd place.
IIt was another calm July race day on Bills Lake in 2019. There was no breeze to speak of on shore at the start line but some breeze could be felt 300 yards out. The small boats were required to make a short run to the barn and back while the large boats (two sails or more) ran from the start to the barn to Shear-Pin Pont and back to the finish line. After a painfully slow start, Dale Mulder was the first boat across the finish line beating the large boats by about two lengths.
For the first time ever, there was no third boat entered, one which automatically would have brought home a trophy
