The Lake Street Library

We have access to a library on the lake. It is located in the Apache zone. The building is new, cute and impressive. The collection, which includes movies, is quite extensive. It is convenient. It is free.

The story of its establishment can be accessed by clicking here. Although it was the vision of Steve and Barb Neureither, they had lots of help with the construction. The donor list is equally impressive.

On summer weekends, Barb is available from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. but you can also call her at 652-7829 or
e-mail her at to set up a pickup time. If you have a specific request, she will pull the book from the shelves and e-mail you back as to a convenient time to pick it up.

The first time that you visit, you fill out an information card; after that, you simply enter your name and the name of the book in a journal located in the building. There are no due dates. The library is located at 8865 Lake.
